"The Danger of Being Born" exhibition displayed at CCU

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Coastal Carolina will feature Deborah Rockman art. Her award winning drawings bring photos to life and the public will get the chance to view her exhibit.

Deborah Rockman, is a talented artist who will feature her solo exhibition " The Danger of Being Born," that opened Monday, Aug. 3, and runs through Saturday, Oct. 10 in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery.

Rockman is a professor of art and chair of the drawing and printmaking programs at Kendall College of Art and Design and has award winning drawings, according to an article on Coastal Carolina. 

Rockman told CCU, " I am a cultural critic."

The exhibit is free, and the public is invited to attend an open reception on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. with a reception at 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the gallery. The gallery is located in room 129 at the College of Humanities and Fine Arts.
