MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) -  Myrtle Beach Police officers responded to North Ocean Blvd. at 11:50 Saturday night in response to a woman that had her purse snatched.

Police say the victim was uncooperative because she was upset. The witness reported he was walking South on N. Ocean Blvd. when he observed a white Acura TL with a Maryland plate.

The witness also told police, the unknown suspect grabbed the victim’s purse as the vehicle was still in motion from 20th Ave. N towards 16th Ave. N. The witness said he saw a white female driving the vehicle, but didn’t see the suspect who grabbed the purse, according to reports.

Items inside the purse included: $860.00 in cash, a white Iphone 6, and a debit card. The victim was unsure of other misc. items, and did not know if her passport was in the purse.

Police reports say, the victim refused to speak to detectives and did not have any visible injuries, or want EMS to come out.
