HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Governor John Kasich spoke to more than a hundred constituents in Horry County Monday night.

Many voters want to hear the Republican presidential hopeful take strong stances on national security, Isis, and the Iran nuclear deal.

Some voters don't actually see Kasich ultimately being the face of the presidency.

They referenced his extensive experience in politics as why they think he would be a better vice president, working behind the scenes as an administrator to the president but still having the power to get things done.

Many people mentioned Donald Trump and seem to think he will get the Republican nomination because they believe the nation is tired of career politicians being in office.

Kaitlin Stansell will have a full recap on the town hall style event on WMBF News at 11.
