Man points gun, demands money at restaurant, police say

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Horry County Police officers responded Saturday to Clark's Seafood after one person pointed a gun and demanded money from the safe.

While en-route, dispatch advised officers that the victim said that two black males one wearing all black, and one with a grey shirt, came in, presented a handgun, and later left, after demanding money from the safe.

Upon arriving, officers and multiple officers from the street crimes unit searched the area with negative results.  Another officer returned to the area and met with the second victim, she stated that two black males came in wearing black ski masks, one pulled out a black handgun, racked the slide, and pointed it at her demanding money at which time he later retrieved the money from several tills.

Both suspects were said to have run out of the South kitchen door through the parking lot tower at the Myrtle Beach Yacht Club.

The suspects were described to be in their early 20’s, 5’10, weighing 200 lbs., wearing all black, black ski masks, and latex gloves.

    A man’s car was reportedly stolen at gunpoint Thursday morning following an altercation with another individual. According to a Myrtle Beach Police Department incident report, officers responded to the 900 block of White Street where they met with the 23-year-old victim.
