MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The line-up has been announced for the California Roots: The Carolina Sessions Festival, a one-day reggae music and arts festival being held for the first time at the Pavilion in Myrtle Beach.

The line-up includes headliners 311, SOJA and Steel Pulse, according to a news release from organizers. The festival will take place on October 3.

For the last two years, the festival was held at Battleship Park in Wilmington, but the venue is no longer allowing concerts to be held there, organizers said.

“We searched high and low for another venue in that area but couldn't find something that suited our needs,” said Festival Operations manager Amy Sheehan. Organizers say the search paid off, as the Pavilion is the perfect location, as it is walking distance from plenty of hotels with ample parking nearby.

Below is the complete line-up of bands performing at the festival:

311
SOJA
Steel Pulse
J Boog
Stick Figure
Passafire
The Movement
New Kingston
Leilani Wolfgramm
Dustin Thomas
TreeHouse
