Police arrest four men and one woman for Myrtle Beach robbery

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Five people have been arrested on charges of robbery related to an incident that occurred Thursday.
At approximately 2:40 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a victim being robbed at The Sandy Beach, according to a Myrtle Beach Police report.

The victim said that he walked South on Ocean Blvd on the East side at 2:15 a.m. He then crossed the street at 9th Avenue North and Ocean Blvd to the west side of Ocean Blvd. The victim stated that the suspect met him halfway in the street and said " hey what's up?" The suspect then asked the victim if he wanted to meet a girl. The victim said he didn't have any money.

The victim then kept walking South on Ocean Blvd when he turned around to see the first suspect squared up with him, the reports states. The victim then saw a third suspect stand up and look at him.

The victim advised he ran away from the beach but wasn't sure exactly where he ran to when he fell. He was then kicked on the left side of his head by two of the suspects. He then tried to run, but fell down a few times. He pretended to be unconscious when he felt the suspects go through his back pockets.

The victim heard one of the suspects say they don't have anything. He opened his eyes and saw them running away from him when he got up and ran on the beach.

The victim then got off the beach and flagged down security at Sandy Beach Resort.
