Sunday Forecast

A Pesky Front and A Bermuda High....

We've been watching a front just off shore that stalled out late last week. It's be oscillating back and forth bringing the chance of rain to the area off and on lately. Your Sunday is looking to go off without a hitch but as the sea breeze moves in, we will see a very isolated chance for a shower to pop up but most should remain dry. Highs today will be similar to yesterday in the upper 80s to around 90 along the Grand Strand and mid to upper 90s in the Pee Dee.

Once the beginning of the week starts, we see that pesky front move back towards the coast bring the chance for a few showers to the area Monday afternoon. After Monday, rain chances go down and the Bermuda high starts to move in bringing the heat with it. We stay dry Tuesday and Wednesday and see temperatures rise above normal with heat index values above 100°. By the end of the week we start to see a disturbance work into the area lowering our temperatures and bringing the chance of rain for next weekend.
