Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office searching for armed robbery suspects

WILLIAMSBURG, SC (WMBF) - Deputies with the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office responded to an armed robbery that took place at 60 Kindale Park Road approximately 12:48 a.m..

Upon arriving, deputies made contact with a victim identified as Roger Pressley, age 46, who advised deputies that he was outside talking on his cell phone in the vicinity of 57 Kindale Park Road, when two unknown black males approached him armed with weapons.

The suspects demanded money and struck Pressley across the head area. Deputies also made contact with a second victim, Ben Cooper, age 60, who advised deputies that four unknown black males forcibly entered his residence armed with firearms. The suspects who are unknown,  demanded money from the victim and then struck Cooper in the head area which caused injury, according to Investigator Alex Edwards.

 Williamsburg County EMS transported Cooper to a local hospital.
