Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee continues SC tour

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) The Palmetto state is getting a lot of attention ahead of the presidential race.

Former Arkansas and 2016 Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee made a couple of stops in the City of Florence.

“It essentially gives the Iranians everything they could possibly want and gives to us nothing,” Presidential Hopeful Mike Huckabee. “

That’s what Huckabee said about the agreement that six nations including the US came to about Iran and its nuclear program.

“We’ve given up things to terrorists. We’ve freed up their economy. We have given them power to not only progress toward nuclear capacity… potentially a bomb.  We have now given them the resources to buy weapons so that they can continue to fund the things they’ve been funding like Hamas, Hanbali and kidnapping and murdering Americans,” Huckabee said.

Right now, congress is reviewing that deal and it at this point it will take 60 days to review it.

Meanwhile we also asked Huckabee about the controversial remarks fellow GOP candidate Donald Trump made.

“It will all be sorted out by the voters. My job is just to keep on message for me, not to worry about what someone else is or isn’t saying,” Huckabee said.

Huckabee made two stops in Florence, one at the Boys & Girls Club and another at Hope Health’s Executive Offices.

He said he came to Florence because he wants to reach every American.

“To give us a flavor of the Pee Dee and to see what’s happening in this area. One of the major jobs of being president is to know what kind of country you are going to lead. You can't do that by going to cocktail parties in Georgetown or a fancy shmancy dinner in Manhattan,” said Huckabee.
