Stolen goat named Donkey recovered in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) – A goat named Donkey has been reunited with his owner after being stolen in Georgetown over the weekend, according to officials.

The goat was found in a backyard, and law enforcement was notified. Donkey was recovered and reunited with his owner.

“Donkey was so excited to see his master, all he could say was I’m baaaaaaaack,” Georgetown Police stated in a Facebook post.

The goat was stolen out of a pickup truck on Front Street on Saturday night, according to Captain Nelson Brown with Georgetown Police.
