3 men arrested on drug-related charges in Conway

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Three men were arrested on drug-related charges in Conway Thursday evening after police responded to reports of shots fired and interviews with several people in the area led them to the charges, a Conway Police official said.

At about 5:30 p.m., officers arrived at the area near 6th Avenue and Pittman Street, according to a news release from Conway Police. An investigation revealed a subject in a vehicle was exchanging gunfire with another subject, but no one was injured.

During the investigation, police interviewed several people in the area, which led to charges unrelated to the shots fired call. Officers arrested the following men:

-Charles Hakeem Johnson, 24 of Conway was charged with possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of heroin, possession of stolen property, simple possession marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.

-Bryant Anile Cole Jr, 24 of Conway was charged with possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of heroin, possession of stolen property, simple possession marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.

-Pagrein Dwayne Harrell, 20 of Myrtle Beach was charged with possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of heroin, possession of stolen property, simple possession marijuana, and trespassing.
