Highway 9 reopens after log truck rolls over

PEE DEE, SC (WMBF) - Highway 9 was blocked nearly three hours Monday when a log truck rolled over.

The accident happened at 12:46 p.m. on Hwy 9, about 3 miles southwest off Highway 41, said Chief Billy Wallace with the Marion Rural Fire Department.

The truck rolled over while negotiating a curve.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital

The road reopened at about 3:30 p.m.
