2 MBPD officers rescue 6 ducklings

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Two officers of the Myrtle Beach Police Department rescued six ducklings trapped in a storm drain in Myrtle Beach.

After dispatch received a troubling call regarding the ducklings, Animal Control Officer Steven Trott and Private First Class Jon Suter came to their aid, reunited them with their mother and relocated them to a nearby pond, according to Lieutenant Joey Crosby and the MBPD Facebook page.

The MBPD consists of 275 officers and staff members and provides a variety of enforcement and protective services for residents, businesses, visitors and ducklings.
