Suspect wanted in connection with in Conway, NC murder turns himself in

CONWAY, NC (WMBF) - One of the suspects being sought in connection with the murder of a Conway, North Carolina man has turned himself in.

At around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Brandon Joyner is now in custody after turning himself in and being held without bond, according to Conway Police. 

Shortly after midnight Friday morning, Shuntavius Vaughan of Conway was shot and killed at 305 Conway Village in Conway, North Carolina.The suspects are being sought for the shooting death of Vaughan. One man is behind bars in connection to the case.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, Conway Police, and the Northampton County Sheriff's Office are continuing this investigation.

Law enforcement is looking for 24-year-old Rumeal Daye; and 24-year-old Akeem Robinson both of Conway.

Chenail Jordan, 25-years-old, was arrested Friday and currently being held in the Northampton County jail without bond.

All have been charged with 1st Degree Murder, Attempted Murder, Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, shooting into an occupied dwelling, and possession of firearm by Felon.

Law enforcement is continuing efforts to capture the two other suspects and asking for the public's help in locating the suspects.
