MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach police are searching for a group of suspects accused of attacking a victim in front of Jimmagan's Pub off Robert Grissom Parkway, beating him and urinating on his face.

The police report said officers got a call around 2 a.m. Monday that a victim was laying on the ground bleeding, and being urinated on. When police got to Jimmagan's, there was no one there. The responding officer said he smelled a cleaning agent and the front sidewalk appeared to have been recently cleaned like a crime-scene. No one inside the bar answered police.

At that point, police got a call from the victim at a gas station nearby, and officers found him bloody and cut with a serious laceration on his face. Police said in the report that the victim was so intoxicated he had trouble recounting the assault. He did tell them a group of men asked if he was a guard for the bar, and when he said no, they attacked him.

A witness saw the assault take place, and told police one suspect urinated on the victims mouth and face. She shouted at the men to leave the suspect on his side so he could breathe, and drove off before calling officers.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and the investigation is ongoing.
