Early Saturday morning at 376 Lyndsey Lane, in Shannon, NC 24-year-old Joshua Woods was shot while attending a graduation party for a family member.

People were leaving the party when Woods went into the road to ask people parked in the roadway to leave, according to deputies.

According to the police report, Woods was then taken by an EMS helicopter to a hospital for treatment. Officials said he is in stable condition.
