Weekly construction projects for you to be aware of this upcoming week

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) -  Several road construction projects will be taking place this week in Myrtle Beach.

According to Director of Public Information Lisa Bourcier ,Sunday-Thursday there will be temporary lane closures on Highway 707 between Green Bay Circle and Holmestown Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving operations.

Monday-Friday the outside westbound lane of Holmestown Road from US 17 Bypass to Blue Jay Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow for construction traffic.

Monday-Friday the eastbound right-hand shoulder of Glenn's Bay Road from Evergreen Circle to US Hwy 17 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for utility relocation work.

    An investigation is underway after two people were shot Saturday night in Marion, according to Marion Police Chief Dewayne Tennie. The two people were shot in front of a store at the corner of Bluff Street and Godbolt Street.
