The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled many events for June 2015. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled many events for June 2015.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled many events for June 2015.

Below is a list of dates, times and locations for events for the chamber's members, and the community:

· June 3 – Building Company Teams – 12 to 1 p.m. – complimentary lunch provided by Simply Southern Smokehouse

· June 4 – Securing Social Security: Today, Tomorrow and For The Future – 12 to 1 p.m. – complimentary lunch provided by Wells Fargo Advisors

· June 8 – McNair Law Firm Grand Strand Business Series: Worksite Enforcement and Immigration – What You Need to Know in 2015 – 12 to 1 p.m. – complimentary lunch provided by McNair Law Firm

· June 9 – Yes, Now You Have a Website. Now What? – 12 to 1 p.m. – boxed lunches available from Primo Hoagies

· June 10 – Growing Your Small Business – 12 to 1 p.m.

· June 11 – Third Annual Grand Strand Business All Access – 5 to 8 p.m. – TicketReturn.com Field - stadium is located at 1251 21st Ave. North in Myrtle Beach

· June 12 – gsSCENE 7th Anniversary Party – 6 p.m. - TicketReturn.com Field - stadium is located at 1251 21st Ave. North in Myrtle Beach

· June 16 – Ribbon Cutting: Carolina Pottery – 8 to 9 a.m. – business is located at 1403 N. Kings Hwy., in Myrtle Beach

· June 17 – Caring For People with COPD – 12 to 1:30 p.m.

· June 18 – South Strand Business Alliance Business After Hours – Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Surfside Beach – 5 to 7 p.m. – business is located at 1601 N. Ocean Blvd., in Surfside Beach

· June 18 – Business After Hours – Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball Club – 6 to 8 p.m. – business is located at 1251 21st Ave. North in Myrtle Beach

· June 23 – Chamber Access – 9 to 11 a.m.

· June 24 – Doing Business with the City of Myrtle Beach – 12 to 1 p.m. – complimentary lunch provided by Sticky Fingers Smokehouse

All events will take place at the chamber's office located on 1200 North Oak Street unless otherwise noted.

    The fifth and final suspect wanted in connection with the Christmas Eve murder of a Lake City man was taken into custody in Columbus, Ohio on January 12. Justin Marquise Pringle, 21, was charged with four other men in the murder of 74-year-old Johnny Cameron on December 24, 2017 at the victim’s home on Old Georgetown Road in Lake City, according to a news release from the Florence County Sheriff's Office.

    An Horry County firefighter living in Conway was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual battery with a student, according to jail records and other sources. Matthew James Oswald, 31, from Conway, was arrested by Horry County police at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday and charged with sexual battery with a student. As of Thursday morning, he remained incarcerated at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
