MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Parishioners arriving for service at the First Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach are being greeted by a small group of protesters, carrying banners and speaking through bullhorns, Sunday.

The protesters, from Westboro Baptist Church in Springfield Missouri, say the churches should be speaking out against Bikefest and the Harley rallies.

Myrtle Beach Police Officers have arrived on scene to make sure the protesters comply with city laws. One of the officers told WMBF News these protesters were also there during this past Spring Harley Rally.
