Broadway at the Beach annual Summer Nights series begins June 1

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Broadway at the Beach will begin hosting its annual free Summer Nights entertainment series  June 1.

“We have an excellent entertainment lineup planned for Broadway at the Beach's Summer Nights series this year,” says Melissa Armstrong, marketing director for Burroughs & Chapin Company, Inc. 

Returning performers this season include Myrtle Beach native, singer and songwriter Maddie Hunt and the highly-energetic, family-friendly comedian Bryan Dangerous, according to a news release from Broadway at the Beach. Maddie will perform every Monday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Bryan Dangerous each Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Nick Pile, who has appeared on ‘America's Got Talent', will be performing his stunt and comedy show every Wednesday through Friday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Shelley Sasser, a student at Dino Capone's School of Rock, will perform every Tuesday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., the release states.

The Character Company will showcase Princesses on Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Super Heroes every Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. to have their pictures taken with guests and the MiniStarz show, featuring celebrity tribute artists, will entertain from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m on Saturdays and Sundays. Entertainers will also be performing from Legends In Concert with a golf cart tour on Monday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the Ripley's Aquarium percussion band, Ruckus will walk every Tuesday and Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“The entertainment will add more energy and excitement throughout the property and enhance the guest experience, creating magical memories they'll remember for years to come,” says Armstrong.

Every Tuesday and Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. free face painting will be available for kids and on Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. a fireworks display will be featured over Lake Broadway. Starting June 19 through August 14, fireworks will also be displayed on Friday nights at 10 p.m.

The Summer Nights series will run through Aug. 1.
