Georgetown officials release photos of 2 armed robbery suspects

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Georgetown County officials have released photos of the suspects they say held employees at gunpoint while robbing Moe's Bar B Que in Litchfield Beach.

Deputies said the incident happened at around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday at Moe's Original Bar B Que located at 12827 Ocean Highway in the Litchfield Beach Community of Georgetown County.

Two suspects entered Moe's Bar B Que, brandished handguns, and demanded money from the employees, officials said. 

The suspects exited the store and fled in an unknown direction of travel with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a black male approximately 6'0” in height, wearing black shorts, a black shirt, a black baseball cap and a black mask. The second suspect is described as a black male approximately 5'06”-5'08” in height, wearing dark clothing, a black baseball cap and a black mask.

Anyone who has any information on the identity of the suspects or any information about the robbery is asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at (843) 546-5101.

    Florence County Sheriff deputies were responding to an assault call Friday when they discovered a victim that had been stabbed. The incident occurred on Palomar Parkway in Florence. Investigators discovered a verbal dispute had resulted in the victim being assaulted and stabbed.
