Controversial gate to reactivate in Hunters Ridge community

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A gate that caused much controversy in two different parts of the Hunters Ridge community will be reactivated.

In an attempt to finally solve the problem between Legacy area residents and Plantation area residents, the Plantation HOA says it will allow people living in Legacy to access a different gate for a fee of $20.

Neighbors battle over a new barrier in Hunters Ridge

Previously, residents from Legacy were not able to use the gate for years.
