LAKE CITY, SC (WMBF) – Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of a man outside the Carolina Girls Club in Lake City on Saturday morning.

According to Florence County coroner, Keith von Lutcken, the victim was identified as 20-year-old Luther “LuLu” Fludd of Scranton, SC. The incident occurred on Samuel Street near the club, von Lutcken said. Investigators said the shooting happened at 2:30 a.m.

According to witnesses, a gold four-door vehicle occupied by two men was in the street in front of the club. The front seat passenger called out to Fludd, who walked up to the vehicle. Gunshots then came from inside the vehicle, and Fludd fell to the ground. The vehicle sped off, and a security guard fired several shots at the vehicle.

After speaking with potential witnesses, Lake City Police stated that have charged 18-year-old Tarik Marquell Wilson for Fludd's murder, as well as for possession of a weapon during commission of a violent crime. Police also charged 23-year-old Dwayne Antonio Williams for criminal conspiracy in connection with this incident.
