HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Another road in Horry County is closed due to flooding Sunday.

According to SC Highway patrol, Shore Drive, off of Lake Arrowhead and Maison Drive has been closed since 1:45 p.m. due to roadway flooding. As of 2:26 p.m. the road is still closed.

Kings Road was closed in Kingston Plantation, near Lake Arrowhead Road, due to flooding, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. As of 11:35 a.m. Sunday, the road is no longer closed, according to SCHP. Lanes were closed on SC-22 and SC-544 due to accidents, according to the SCDOT.

While en route to the scene, WMBF News Chief Meteorologist Jamie Arnold also caught some roadway flooding on Highway 17 at 41st Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach.

The road closure was reported at 9:09 a.m. Sunday. At times the rain will be heavy and could result in minor flooding problems in some areas as Tropical Storm Ana slowly moves across the area. Rainfall totals will be one to three inches.
