Popular Myrtle Beach restaurant redeemed on this week's Scorecard

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – On this week's Restaurant Scorecard, a Myrtle Beach restaurant gets redemption after two low-scored visits from the Department of Health and Environmental Control.

The popular eatery SOHO Steak and Seafood finally got a perfect score in their health inspection. DHEC gave the restaurant a 100 in their latest follow-up inspection. We first told you about the popular Japanese-Mediterranean joint when they got a 56 on their inspection. Then, in a follow-up, they got a 71. And the third time is the charm.

The restaurant manager says SOHO will be relocating to a brand new building across the street from where they're at in a few months.

And tonight all new on WMBF News at 11, SOHO's manager speaks out to us about the inspections and what the next step is for the eatery.

H ere's a list of some other places across the area that were visited by DHEC:

-Both Bojangles number 756 in Aynor and Tortilleria Hermanos in Myrtle Beach got an 88.

-An 89 was given to Ron Jon's Beer and Burgers.

-A nearly perfect score was given to Chuck and Ducks.
