MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Officers were called to a Myrtle Beach bar for a second and third time this week on Thursday morning after crack cocaine and two handguns were found there. Police also responded to the bar on Sunday after a Loris man reportedly shot at a security guard.

At about 1:15 a.m., Horry County Police officers responded to Danny's Bar and Grill on April Gray Lane in Myrtle Beach after a security officer on duty said he found a patron trying to bring drugs into the bar, according to a news release from HCPD. The patron was detained. Police field-tested the substance, which tested positive as crack cocaine.

Anthony White, 23, of Salters, was taken to the Horry County Detention Center where he was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base.

At about 3:30 a.m., officers returned to Danny's after a security officer noticed two pistols inside a vehicle in the parking lot, according to the news release. When the officer returned to the car after calling police, it was gone, but the pistols were found in a grassy area nearby. Both guns were seized by police.

On Sunday, police responded to Danny's after a man allegedly shot at a security guard while being escorted out of the bar for being disorderly. On Monday, Dustin Peavy, 23, was arrested for this incident.
