MYRLTE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A 16-year-old and a 20-year-old are facing armed robbery charges after they allegedly tried to rob a party, and were then beaten up by the people at the party. The 16-year-old suspect was also stabbed, according to police.

Emmanuel Burroughs, 20, and Jashon Brainard, 16, both of Myrtle Beach, were charged in connection to the incident.

According to the Horry County Police Department, officers responded to reports of a man having a gun at an apartment complex on Maypop Circle around 10:45 pm. Monday.
