HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A man accused of shooting and killing a man at a Myrtle Beach billiards hall last year was apprehended Monday morning in Columbia.

Cliston Bellamy, 28, was apprehended without incident by the US Marshalls Fugitive Task Force in Columbia at 9 a.m. Monday, according to a news release from the Horry County Police Department. He will be extradited to Horry County to face the murder charge.

Bellamy had been on the run since May 2014 after he allegedly shot and killed a man at Smokehouse Billiards on Waccamaw Boulevard.

Last week, the HCPD and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The task force that apprehended Bellamy was composed of officers from the Horry County Police Department, the Horry County Sheriff's Office, the Richland County Sheriff's Office, and the Darlington County Sheriff's Office, officials stated.
