Police investigating possible early morning shooting on Robert Grissom

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - 

Myrtle Beach Police are investigating a shooting incident that happened early Saturday morning.

According to Police, at approximately 1:45 a.m. a fight broke out in the Jimmagans parking lot along Robert Grissom Parkway

Police say two gunshots were heard in the area, and they are unsure if anyone was shot.

Parts of Robert Grissom Parkway were limited to one lane as police searched a wooded area.

Police also say they have not found a suspect or victim at this time.

    An Horry County firefighter living in Conway was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual battery with a student, according to jail records and other sources. Matthew James Oswald, 31, from Conway, was arrested by Horry County police at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday and charged with sexual battery with a student. As of Thursday morning, he remained incarcerated at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
