BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) – A third person was arrested after a victim was held up at gunpoint and shots were fired in Bennettsville Monday. Bond was set for all three suspects at hearings on Wednesday morning.

According to Lt. Larry Turner with the Bennettsville Police Department, Saviance Jennings, 18, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact of attempted murder, and third degree assault.

Anthony Lane, 17, was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact of attempted murder, and assault and battery in the third degree, officials say.

Bennettsville police said they were looking for two people wanted in connection to drug crimes and a shooting.

A firefighter stopped to help a victim screaming from inside a car at McLeod and Lindsay Street intersection, said Lt. Turner with the Bennettsville Police Department.

The victim told the firefighter four individuals were riding in the car when one person pulled out a gun and demanded cash and drugs.

When the victim gave the suspect money but no drugs, the suspect pulled a gun, said Turner.

The three suspects fled the vehicle and fired shots when the firefighter pulled up, according to police.

Police arrested Shyheim Dease and charged him with attempted murder, numerous drug offenses, malicious intent to cause injury to property and discharging a firearm within city limits.

Bond hearings were held for Dease, Land and Jenning on Wednesday. According to Lt. Turner, Dease's bond was set at $36,500, Lane's was set at $15,000, and Jennings's was set at $15,000.
