3 arrested for shooting man in Lumberton parking lot Thursday

LUMBERTON, NC (WMBF) – Three suspects have been arrested after a 26-year-old man was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Food Lion in Lumberton last Thursday night.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call at the Food Lion on West 5th Street on Thursday night, according to a news release from the Lumberton Police Department. Officers found a man shot multiple times with a small-caliber handgun.

Investigators identified three suspects, who were arrested on Friday.

Eddie Hoyt Britt, 25, Mustafa Aziz, 30, and Danielle Yvonn Barron, 20, were all booked into Robeson County Detention Center, according to the release, and charged with:

-Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury

-Discharging a weapon into occupied property with serious bodily injury

-Discharging a firearm in the city limits.

Officials stated that Britt's secured bond was set at $45,000, Aziz's was set at $40,000, and Barron's bond was set at $30,000.

The victim of the shooting is currently in stable condition, according to the news release.
