Study finds SC could improve eco-friendly habits

SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) - A recent study finds South Carolina could improve its eco-friendly habits.

The Palmetto State ranked 28 in the WalletHub study, 2015's Most & Least Eco-Friendly States. 

North Carolina ranked 22 and Georgia ranked close by as 26 in the nation, according to findings. 

The study found South Carolina to be the top three state with the highest gasoline consumption, and the state to have the highest water quality.

Meanwhile, researchers found neighboring North Carolina to have the worst water quality, according to the survey.
