Old Horry County Courthouse closed due to power outage

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Due to a power outage, the Old Horry County Courthouse will be closed Tuesday, April 21.

According to Horry County Officials, a blown transformer caused the outage.

Offices located at the courthouse on 1201 3rd Avenue in Conway, include the Conway Magistrate, Central Traffic Court, Central Jury Court, Delegation, Probation and Parole, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and the Worthless Check Unit.

There will be no precious metal permits issued Tuesday, according to officials.

Officials say all offices will be open and on normal schedule Wednesday, April 22, and court attendees are asked to call the offices Wednesday, to reschedule hearing dates.
