Darlington man arrested hours after his release from jail for same crime

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - After a Darlington man was released from jail on criminal domestic violence charges, he went to the victim's home and assaulted her, police say.

According to the Darlington County Sheriff's Office, Fredrico Najee Page, 21, was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence, 2nd offense, and malicious injury to real property.

Police say Page was released from the Darlington County Detention Center Sunday morning after being charged with criminal domestic violence, 1st offense and contempt of magistrate court. 

Following his release, Page went to the victim's residence, broke a window, and assaulted her, police say. Page fled the scene but was later apprehended by the DCSO Bloodhound Tracking Team, according to officials.

Page is currently awaiting a bond hearing scheduled for Monday morning, police say.
