HEMINGWAY, SC (WMBF) – A 53-year-old Nesmith man was arrested Thursday for attempted murder after allegedly shooting a victim in the arm and shoulder in Hemingway.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot of a store in the 2400 block of Hemingway Highway, according to a news release from the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say Nathaniel Louis Graham and the victim had a dispute, Graham took a gun out of his vehicle, and shot at the victim, striking the victim in the arm and shoulder.

The victim is being treated at a nearby hospital for gunshot wounds, according to officials.

Graham was arrested, charged with attempted murder, and booked into the Williamsburg County Detention Center.
