Missing 15-year-old girl found by Darlington County deputies

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing by Horry County Police Wednesday night was found by deputies with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office.

Antasia Davis is being returned to her family in Horry County, confirmed Lt. Raul Denis with HCPD.

Police said she ran away from a family residence in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, Apr. 7.

She was reported missing to Horry County Police on Apr. 8, said Horry County police.

The next day, police said a family friend talked to Davis at 9th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.

NOTE: Initially, police reported the missing girl's last name as Lewis and issued two incorrect photos.
