(RNN) – Police in Milton, MA said an explosive device was found inside a home on Tuesday, and that the device was intended to blow up the house.

The device was safely disconnected before it could be ignited, the Patriot Ledger reported.

The homeowner and a lawyer were inside the house when the device was found, police told WCVB. The house is currently for sale.

About a week ago, the police received reports of vandalism.

There are no reports of injuries. No arrests have been made.

Milton is a southern Boston suburb.
