CCU hosts after-school ethics academy for sixth graders

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Coastal Carolina University's Jackson Family Center for Ethics and Values will host an after-school program through February 23 in the HTC Center.

The after-school program will allow talented sixth-grade students to have an opportunity to develop character and leadership skills by being involved with professors and outstanding college students on campus.

The program will host 84 students from 10 Horry County middle schools including Aynor, Loris, St James, Ocean Bay, Whittemore Park, Forestbrook, Green Sea Floyds, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, and Black Water. The students were selected by teacher and school principals who show leadership potential.
