Forestbrook Middle School wins archery tournament

FORESTBROOK, SC (WMBF) – The Forestbrook Middle School Gator Archers won first place at the SC National Archery in the schools region 4 tournament on February 6-7, 2015.

Gator Archers competed against eight teams in the middle school division, and won first place with a score of 3212.

The top three male scorers for the tournament all represented Forestbrook and were Austin Miller (1st), Colby Craig (2nd), and Matthew Forrest (3rd).

Two of the top three female scorers for the tournament also were Gator Archers. Findley Stillwell finished first and Severina Graovac finished third.

This is the third year the archery program has been at Forestbrook. The team is coached by teachers Natalie Baxley, Gail Collins, Tina Oshima, and parent/volunteer Ron Weaver.
