Police investigate Dollar General armed robbery

Officers with the Horry County Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a Dollar General in Green Sea, Friday. Officers with the Horry County Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a Dollar General in Green Sea, Friday.

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Officers with the Horry County Police Department responded to an armed robbery at a Dollar General in Green Sea, Friday.

The robbery occurred at the store located on 5240 Highway 9, around 9:15 p.m. According to HCPD, two store employees reported that the suspects entered the store, waved a gray, semi-automatic pistol, and demanded money. The suspects were described as two black males, dressed in black pants, black hooded sweatshirts, black bandanas, and gloves.

The suspects took an undetermined amount of money, according to police. No one was hurt during the incident.
