Lake City insurance company offers health coverage sign-up help

LAKE CITY, SC (WMBF) – If you still haven't signed up for health coverage, you have until the February 15 deadline under the Affordable Care Act, or you may be hit with a penalty come tax time.

LBM Insurance Services is offering assistance in signing up for health coverage before the February 15 deadline in Lake City, according to a flyer posted online.

The company is offering Affordable Care Act sign up assistance at The Inn At the Crossroads, located at 128 W. Main Street in Lake City, beside the Enterprise Car Rental. Assistance will be offered from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day from Wednesday, February 11 to Saturday, February 14.

If you go, you'll need the Social Security numbers and the income information of the persons to be covered.
