Local athletes commit to colleges on National Signing Day

Luke Carter from Wilson High School was signed to Wofford. Luke Carter from Wilson High School was signed to Wofford.

Five student athletes from Wake Forest signed letters of intent. Five student athletes from Wake Forest signed letters of intent.
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Wednesday was National Signing Day, and a number of local high school football players and athletes were signed to colleges across the nation.

    Dozens of flights in and out of MYR were canceled and delayed Wednesday due to the winter storm. A lot of the problems stemmed from snow at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. It was a frustrating day for a lot of flyers.
