NC (WMBF) - The North Carolina Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting on February 17, to discuss a proposed safety improvement project.
The project calls for construction of a separated intersection at U.S. 15-501 and NC 144 in Scotland County. The proposed plan is a part of a NCDOT effort to improve traffic and operational safety along US 15-501.
The meeting will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church, located on 15301 McFarland Road in Laurinburg. All citizens are welcome to attend.
NCDOT representatives will provide information and answer questions regarding the project. All questions, comments and concerns should be received in writing no later than March 3. Maps of the location, and design concept will be displayed at the meeting and online.
