GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF/WCSC) - Officials with the Georgetown Police Department say they have arrested a suspect linked to robberies in Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Columbia.

Stanley Moultrie was arrested Saturday evening without incident, police say. He was detained in the Georgetown County Detention Center.

Moultrie is being charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, and use of a weapon during a violent crime. Police say this offense happened at the Shoe Show last month on North Frasier Street, but Moultrie has been linked to similar robberies around the state.

Myrtle Beach Police say Moultie is responsible for the armed robbery of the Hot Topic at the Coastal Grand Mall on January 24.

According to the press release, Moultrie's arrest was an ongoing collaborative effort between the Georgetown Police Department, State Law Enforcement Division, Myrtle Beach Police Department, Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Moultrie was scheduled to go through bond court Monday at 11:30 a.m..
