The closure will take place in the outside west bound lane from US 17 Bypass to The Lakes Access 2. According to Horry County officials, there will also be periodic flagging operations so that trucks can safely enter and exit the work site at the Pond #1 location on Glenns Bay Road, and Holmestown Road on the right east bound lane coming up to US 17 Bypass.

Monday through Friday, there will be a shoulder closure on US 17 Bypass north bound from the Church of the Resurrection, north up to Glenns Bay Road for utility work.

In addition to lane closures, new speed limit signs have been installed in the work zone for the Glenns Bay Road project. The speed limit has been reduced from 45 mph to 25 mph. The limits are now in effect.
