Missing Chesterfield County teen found, suspect still at large

Information has been received that Deas left with Harland Donnell Melton, 43.(SLED). Information has been received that Deas left with Harland Donnell Melton, 43.(SLED).
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The SC Law Enforcement Division found the missing Chesterfield County teen.

Alexis Ann Deas, 14, was last seen at New Heights Middle School in Jefferson, SC when the Amber Alert was sent out. Information has been received that Deas left with Harland Donnell Melton, 43.

According to the SC Alert, Melton is still at large.

Melton is described as a white male with short hair and green eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and 150 pounds. Melton has a full beard.

He may be traveling in a black 1999 Nissan Maxima, with SC tags. The tag number is IUF 593. 

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Melton, call 911.
