Restaurant Scorecard: A's across the board this week

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - It's finally the weekend, which means it's time to see how local some eateries did when they were visited by the Department of Health.

It's all A's across the board, on this week's Restaurant Scorecard, but there were some minor infractions that took just a few points off some of the scores.

Starting in North Myrtle Beach at the Bonefish Grill on South Kings Highway, the restaurant got a 93 from the Department of Health. The inspector noted the exterior side of the cooking equipment and the ice machine were dirty, and the base of the wall outside the walk-in cooler needed to be fixed.

Ichiro's Express in Conway got a score of 94 with just a few infractions. The report from that restaurant shows shrimp was seen thawing in standing water and the trashcan in the employee restroom didn't have a lid.

An inspector also stopped by Bummz On The Beach in Myrtle Beach. It scored a 95. The Department of Health took a few points off because the wiping towels were not stored in proper sanitizer. The report also showed chemical spray bottles didn't have labels and lights were not covered properly.

Lastly we're ending back in Conway at Nagoya Hibachi Express. That restaurant came in at the top this week with a score of 96, but the inspector did say knives were stored improperly in between prep tables, and noted the trashcan in the ladies' restroom was missing a lid.
