HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The first suspect wanted by the Horry County Sheriff's Office on this week's "Horry County Suspect Search" is wanted for failure to appear in court for common law robbery.
According to the Myrtle Beach Police report, 25-year-old Jamal Blake jumped out of the woods along Mr. Joe White Avenue back in June of 2014 and ripped a bag off of the victim's shoulders, getting away with a tablet, the bag, keys and two bank cards. The report also says the woman had an order of protection against the suspect she previously resided with. Blake's last known address is on 8th avenue in Conway.
Christopher Shane McGinnis, 41, is wanted for failure to appear for pointing and presenting a firearm at a person. According to the Myrtle Beach Police report, on the night of September 2, 2014, McGinnis pulled a gun on an employee at Sharkey's Bar in Myrtle Beach after that employee yelled at him for walking behind the bar. McGinnis' last known address is in North Carolina.
The third suspect wanted by deputies is 33-year-old Derrick Grissett. Grissett is wanted for first-degree burglary, criminal domestic violence of a high aggravated nature, and petit larceny.
The Horry County Police report says that on December 3, 2014, Grissett came to the victim's home to give her money for their children, but ended up in an argument that resulted in him bursting into the home, stealing her car keys and taking off. The report also says Grissett ran over the victim's leg with the car when she tried to stop him, but fell out of the car. Grissett's last known address is on Ocala Lane in Loris.
