BENNETTSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - A judge set bond for a Bennettsville man accused of cutting a hole into the roof of a pharmacy and stealing $25,000 worth of drugs.

Bond was set at $170,000 for Fletcher Lee in a Marlboro County courtroom Thursday, said Lt. Larry Turner.

Lee was arrested early Wednesday morning by the Bennettsville Police Department.

Lee was charged with numerous crimes, including: burglary, malicious injury, three counts of trafficking morphine, oxycontin, oxycodone and possession with intent to distribute, said Turner.

Police responded to the alarm sounding at MedCare Pharmacy on Cottingham Road in Bennettsville Tuesday night.

Police said numerous bottles of narcotic drugs were missing along with syringes and other paraphernalia.

Before leaving, police said they saw containers stacked against the building. Once atop the wooden roof of the drugstore, police said it was determined Lee had cut a hole to gain access.
