Gabby the Sea Turtle predicts this year's Super Bowl winner

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The “expert” has made her prediction for this Sunday: Gabby the Sea Turtle has picked the New England Patriots to win this year's Super Bowl.

Before you ‘shell' out your life savings on a bet for the Pats to beat the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, know that the record for the Ripley's Aquarium's green sea turtle is as spotty, at best. For the past four years, the 300-pound turtle has made her choice for Super Bowl winner, and so far, she's only picked one winner correctly. Last year, Gabby picked the Broncos to win against the Seahawks.

Will Gabby get it right this year? Tune in on Super Bowl Sunday and find out. You can watch Superbowl XLIX on WMBF News on February 1, or streaming online – you will find a link on WMBFNews.com on Sunday.

Ripley's Aquarium, located at 1110 Celebrity Circle, features 10,000 exotic sea creatures from more than 350 individual species.
